Course Description

This theme based English course integrates reading, writing, listening, speaking, and critical thinking skills around assignments and activities focusing on Environmental Science. Students will evaluate information scientifically in the context of their own lives. Topics include population, ecology, climate change, sustainability, and pollution. Laboratories are included. Students in the HS+ program can earn English, Lab Science, Science, Contemporary World Issues and/or elective credits.
