Survey of British literature from 1600 to 1780 examining the following literary periods or genres: Elizabethan Age, Neoclassical Period, Restoration Period, Age of Sensibility and early Romanticism. Writers may include Sidney, Raleigh, Bacon, Blake, Dryden, Locke, Pope, Johnson, Fielding, and Donne.
