Co-occurring Disorders Assessment and Treatment

This course is an overview of psychopathology and Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorders in Human Services and Substance Use Disorder fields. Common mental disorders are examined across the lifespan. Screening, Assessment, and Treatment Strategies for individuals with Co-Occurring Disorders will be employed. Evidence-based treatment practices, Suicide Risk Assessment, and suicide prevention safety planning skills will be practiced.
