Course Description
This is the second of a two-part workshop course (DMS 160 and DMS 260) that focuses on student roles and experiences in the clinical setting. In this course, students will reflect on their role in the clinical setting and educate their peers based on their own learning experiences. Case study presentations and discussions will be centered on analyzing barriers to learning and developing skills on how to overcome them, strategies to maximize educational opportunities, and application of didactic knowledge in the clinical setting. Students will also work in conjunction with DMS Faculty to plan and host a continuing education seminar for the benefit of community sonographers.
