Admission Requirements

Admission to this program is not guaranteed upon general TCC admission. Students must complete a secondary selective admission process. Students are strongly encouraged to consult with an academic advisor and review the program’s webpage for detailed information on application deadlines, selection criteria, and required documentation.

To be considered for admission into the Applied Management Bachelor's program students must:

  • Have earned an Associate of Applied Science or equivalent degree or 90 college-level credits from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a minimum 2.0 in all applicable college level courses.

  • Be in good academic standing (not currently under suspension or prohibited from attending TCC.)

Required Coursework

Students must have the following completed before enrolling in upper division 300-400 level courses.

  • course - English Composition I

  • course - Introduction to Statistics OR course - Statistical Analysis

  • course - Principles of Accounting I

  • course - Introduction to Business

  • course - Excel I OR course - Word I & Excel I (CU103 or CU105 with a minimum grade of C required prior to CU203.)

  • course - Excel II (CU203 with a minimum grade of B required prior to BUS320.)
    Students who hold the Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate Certification may be able to use it as a substitute for CU203. To initiate the substitution process or for additional information, students should contact Computer User (CU) Coordinator Christine Cerny.

Students who do not meet the requirement(s) may petition for an individual review by submitting a letter of explanation to the program chair.
