Catalog Description

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Networking and Cybersecurity prepares students for entry-level careers in network administration, technical support, database management, and cybersecurity. The curriculum combines technical core courses that emphasize hands-on experience with systems, data management, networking, and security principles, alongside non-technical core courses that develop essential business, project management, and communication skills. Advanced coursework includes training in database administration, Windows and Linux server environments, network infrastructure, routing protocols, cybersecurity practices, and virtualization technologies.

Graduates will be well-prepared to pursue industry-recognized certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, and Dell/EMC, or to continue their education in TCC's program.
