Required Coursework

• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA in prerequisite courses.

• Minimum C+ (2.3) in each prerequisite course.

• ALL prerequisite courses must be complete (with a final grade) prior to submitting an application.

• It is strongly recommended that math and science prerequisites be completed within the past 5 years.

• Students who completed prerequisite coursework at a college other than TCC must submit an official transcript to Enrollment Services for evaluation. All coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution to be considered for equivalency.

• course - Human Anatomy and Physiology 2

• Complete one of the following English courses:

  • course - English Composition I OR

  • course: English Composition II: Argument and Persuasion OR

  • course: Composition III: Writing About Literature

• Complete one of the following Math courses:

  • course - Precalculus I OR

  • course- Introduction to Statistics

• Complete one of the following Communication Studies courses:

  • course - Introduction to Communication OR

  • course - Interpersonal Communication OR

  • course - Public Speaking OR

  • course - Intercultural Communication (Formerly CMST110)

• Complete one of the following Physics courses:

  • course - Physics II OR

  • course - General Physics III

course will be accepted only if it was completed in 2025 or earlier.
