  • Elective courses should be selected based on transfer institution and may include prerequisites for major courses (e.g., pre-calculus), additional major coursework, or specific general education.

  • No more than 5 credits in this category may be from courses that are not listed on the 2025-2026 Approved Distribution Course List.

  • No more than 3.0 PE activity credits may be applied toward the degree.

ASTR&110 and ASTR&115 are strongly recommended for students planning to pursue a bachelor's program in Astronomy.
