Admission decisions are not based on basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, gender identity, gender expression, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, creed, religion, or status as a veteran of war.
We encourage new students to apply online using the online admissions application (OAA) at least two weeks prior to the quarter in which you want to begin. Once you submit your OAA, please allow up to five business days for your application to be processed. Once processed, you will receive an email with your next steps.
Students typically only complete the OAA once. If you were a student at TCC and haven’t taken any classes for one year, email admissions@tacomacc.edu so we can activate your accounts.
Secondary Admission Programs
Admission to select programs is based on individual qualifications and the availability of space in the desired program. To apply, students must complete both the standard TCC online admissions application and a separate program-specific application.
